INSTRUMENT AND CONTROL (I&C) COMMISSIONING SUPERVISOR
When assigned to a specific construction site, he supervises the calibration of instruments and the calibration
and setting of controls and controlling systems.
The I&C Commissioning Supervisor may be assigned to other start-up engineering disciplines according to his qualifications and capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
a) Preparing purchase orders for consumable start-up supplies and instrument spare parts.
b) Developing and maintaining detailed calibration records.
c) Supervising the calibration and setting of instruments and controls in a sequence and at a rate which
anticipates the Master start-up schedule.
d) Planning and conducting engineering tests and studies and preparing reports and sketches as may
be required.
e) Collecting and recording Instrument and Control calibration and setting point data for instruments
and controls, including those installed and calibrated by sub contractors.
f) Monitoring the final construction stage of systems and equipment to assure timely installation and
adequate testing of instruments and controls to meet the Master start-up schedule.
g) Maintaining current progress records and equipment data sheets in detail and furnishing weekly
reports as scheduled.
h) Assisting with the preparation of final start-up records.
i) Performing other professional engineering duties assigned by supervision.
Knowledge of English Language ( Knowledge of Russian Language is appreciate)
