Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for:
· Review contractor developed key structural (covering related disciplines, such as architectural, ..) documents, including hook-up design, shop drawings, job cards, and mechanical completion packages to ensure compliance with relevant design and pertinent codes and specifications.
· Review and approve Contractor’s expenditure (structural personnel time sheets).
· Monitor progress, cost and schedule of contractor’s structural hook-up activities to ensure that pertinent project cost and schedule milestones are achieved. Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of structural installation activities.
· Interface proactively with engineering teams to ensure that all required structural engineering-related input from Company are timely delivered to contractor.
· Coordinate closely with other functional groups of the Hook-up team to provide construction engineering support for inshore fabrication and offshore hook-up activities, and to ensure timely feed back to continuously improve efficiency and performance for all phases of the hook-up work
· Ensure that all relevant final project documentation in structural area is handed over to Company in a timely and orderly fashion meeting contractual requirements.
· Provide structural discipline input to the hook-up engineering as and when is required
